Heat-fused bitumen membrane layers are still one of the most durable ways to waterproof a flat roof, parapet wall or balcony. Layers are torched down and bonded solidly to the surface, with detailed sealing around every upstand, drain and edge. Where a seamless, coat-on finish suits the roof better, we'll recommend Elastrocryl Fiber rubber instead — we assess this during the same inspection.
